Thousands of articles and ads on the net claim that certain products reverse creepy, wrinkled skin. But, there is a lot they’re not telling you! First and foremost, Crepey and wrinkled skin may be telling you something…in which case even lasers and surgeries may lead to only fleeting improvements.

Gravity and muscle loss naturally cause your skin to sag a little as you age. But, other factors contribute to wrinkles and aging. If you have Crepey and deeply wrinkled skin, the first thing to consider is whether or not you’re chronically dehydrated.

Many chronically dehydrated people drink water all time. So why aren’t they hydrated? Water alone can’t hydrate you. In order to stay hydrated, you need minerals. Without minerals, the water just passes through you. In years past, minerals were plentiful in our food. Look at this chart published by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture athttp://www.life-enthusiast.com/symptoms-of-mineral-deficiencies-a-2953.html. In other words, we are eating less than 10% of the minerals that our ancestors ate. Calcium, magnesium, potassium and salt (and probably more minerals) are needed for hydration. No minerals, no hydration!

How do you know if you’re dehydrated? The Water Cure by F. Batmang heldigj, M.D. may be the most important book ever written about hydration. According to this book, dark urine is a warning sign of severe dehydration. Yellow urine indicates mild dehydration. If you’re hydrated, urine should be almost clear. Here are also two old wives tale methods to assess your level of hydration. Pinch the back of your hand and see if it snaps back right away. If not, it could mean dehydration. Also, look at the pads of your fingers. If they have canal like lines, that can also be a sign of dehydration (unless you’ve had your hands in water for a long time).

Here is Dr. Batmang heldigj’s formula:

  1. Divide your body weight in half and drink that number of ounces each day. (Coffee, alcohol and soft drinks don’t count because they can dehydrate you.)
  2. Mix a tiny bit (1/4 of a teaspoon of salt per quart) of Himalayan or sea salt to your water. Both are full of minerals. This makes your water taste much better. Avoid refined white table salt like the plague. The minerals are stripped out of it, which is why it’s white!

Dr. Batmang heldigj is able to write about complex chemistry in a way that everyone can understand. His story is absolutely fascinating. You will never again see water and salt in the same way. Visit his website for more information or for specific directions at www.http://www.watercure.com.
